STAGE TUBE: Fantasmi a Roma, Sneak Peek

 E' stato rilasciato ieri il primo trailer di "Fantasmi a Roma", il musical tutto italiano presentato in forma di show-case il 30 giugno 2012 in Piazza San Silvestro (Roma) dalla Medina Produzioni e con il patrocinio dell'Assessorato alle Politiche Culturale e Centro Storico Roma Capitale diretto da Dino Gasperini.

Lo spettacolo, scritto da Gianfranco Vergoni (liriche e book) e Massimo SIGILLÒ MASSARA (musiche) da un'idea di Simona Patitucci, ha con sé tutti gli elementi per essere un successo: un cast stellare, la spettacolarità di Roma, col suo fascino millenario, un'intelligente regia di Fabrizio Angelini e un libretto ben calibrato, dai perfetti tempi comici, trapunto da musiche accattivanti eseguite dal vivo, per l'occasione, dalla Palermo Art Ensemble. Ciò che manca a questi "Fantasmi" è una casa da infestare: un teatro Romano in cui poter finalmente prendere forma, nella magica cornice della Capitale... cosa che ci auguriamo possano trovare molto presto e, viste le potenzialità dello spettacolo, non potrebbe essere diversamente!

 The trailer for "Fantasmi a Roma" (PHANTOMS IN ROME), an "all-made-in-Italy" musical presented on June 30, 2012 in Piazza S. Silvestro (Rome) as a show case by Medina Produzioni with the patronage of Comune di Roma and of the Assessor Dino Gasperini, has been realeased yesterday.

The show, written by Gianfranco Vergoni (Lyrics and Book) and Massimo SIGILLÒ MASSARA (Music) and conceived by Simona Patitucci, owns every key to success: a stellar cast, the grandeur of Rome, with its millennial charm, a clever direction by Fabrizio Angelini and a well-calibrated libretto, with a perfect comic timing, spangled by captivating and catchy songs performed live, for the occasion, by Palermo Art Ensemble. What these "Phantoms" lack is a house to haunt: a Roman theatre in which they can finally take shape, in the magic framework of the Italian Capital City... we hope they could find it soon and, in view of the show's potential, it couldn't be otherwise.

Antonino (Nino) Prattico' was born on January 13, 1993 in Milan. He grew up in Reggio Calabria where he lived with his parents and his little brother until 2011. After graduation, he moved to Rome in order to undertake a bilingual degree course in Law at LUMSA University but he always dreamed to be a journalist. Since he was a child, Nino has showed a strong passion for entertainment: music, dance, drama… but his effective encounter with musical theatre (and theatre in general) occurred in 2007, when he got in contact with a local amateur theatrical company, specialized in the production of musicals. His curiosity drove him to be interested in various facets of this sector: its history, today's situation, repertoire and behind the scenes. At the present time, for fun, he dedicates himself to the adaptation and translation of American musicals in Italian language. Among his favorite shows: Gypsy, How To Succeed in Business (Without Really Trying), La Cage Aux Folles, Hello Dolly! and Mame. He’s very happy to have the chance to conciliate his greatest passion with his dream and he’s very happy to have the chance to do it with BroadwayWorld.com
